Coffee Talk and a Fond Farewell

As of July 31, 2017 Artisans' Way Inc. will no longer be located in the Historic Hilton House, but we will be making plans to hold community art and cultural events in the future in various venues throughout the state.

Don't miss this last Coffee Talk at Artisans' Way!
WEDNESDAY: July 26, 11:00am - 1:00 pm with Middleground, (Mark and Barbara Armbrecht).

 AND we have great news:
Coffee Talk is moving to the Senior Center on Thursdays in August.
11:00 am - 1:00 pm

  • And the Hilton House is closing, for how long? We don't know.
  • Silver Linings clearance sale has begun!
In the Gallery until July 28, 2017:

Mike Weiss
"My name is Mike Weiss and before art I practiced law for 30 years. I'm a wood sculptor who has been playing with wood for  almost 30 years and hopefully my work has evolved. I mainly make elephants, nasty fish, dragons or anything else I might see in a piece of wood. My pieces are all wood except for the eyes which  are glass eyes from an internet taxidermy store. The wood I use is all native to Florida and most of it is crape myrtle, camphor, and particularly red cedar. I really love what I do and just feel compelled to make these sculptures. I have especially found great satisfaction in the techniques and processes I have had to learn or invent over time. I also believe there can be no fear in art.
